You can now require specific address details to be entered when adding a new customer and set maximum lengths on text fields — helping ensure addresses pass cleanly to other systems such as couriers.
Complete and correctly configured customer data matters most when it's being passed to other systems. When adding a new customer, users can now be required to enter specific address details, and text fields can be limited to prevent overly long entries. This helps ensure the addresses you capture meet the format other systems expect — for example, courier platforms that reject records with missing fields or overly long values. By catching these issues at the point of entry, you avoid failed integrations and delivery problems later on, keeping your customer data reliable and ready to use wherever it's needed.
Set these in the Cog -> Module Settings -> Companies.
