Zigaflow vs Pipedrive: a quick pipeline that stops at the won deal
Pipedrive is a well-priced sales CRM. Quotes need Premium at £59 a seat or a Smart Docs add-on, invoices are raised in another app, and no Pipedrive page describes a purchase order, a job or a margin.
A sales pipeline, not an order
Pipedrive does what it sets out to do: it keeps a sales team's deals moving and its follow-ups on time, and nothing here argues otherwise. The problem starts once the deal is won, because nothing in Pipedrive turns it into something you can buy against, make or deliver. Every row below was checked against Pipedrive's own pricing page and support articles on 30 October 2026. A cross means the capability is not described anywhere on those pages, not that we tested the product and found it missing. Prices are the UK prices published that day, per seat per month billed annually and excluding VAT, so check them before you decide.
Quotes are a Premium feature or an add-on
Pipedrive's plan matrix includes Smart Docs, its quotes, proposals and e-signatures, from Premium at £59 a seat per month billed annually. On Lite and Growth it is a paid add-on, from £32.50 on the pricing page.
Invoices are raised in another app
Pipedrive's invoicing feature sends the deal to your invoicing app, and you need a paid or trial account with both. Pipedrive's own app covers QuickBooks Online; the Xero listing in its marketplace is built by a third party, Make.
Cost is a reference field, not a margin
A Pipedrive product can hold a cost per unit, and the support article says that cost is for your reference only. No Pipedrive page we read describes purchase orders, stock, works orders or delivery notes.

What happens after the deal is won
The quote is the order is the invoice
One record carries the lines from inquiry to invoice, so the purchase order you raise is against the same lines the customer accepted. Nothing is re-keyed into a second system when the deal is won.
Cost and margin on the line
Supplier cost sits beside sell price on every line, so margin is visible while the quote is still editable and stays with the job as purchase orders come in. That is the number a distributor is actually managing.
Follow-up that starts from the quote
In Zigaflow the follow-up hangs off the quote itself: emails go out a set number of days after it is sent, and tasks for your team are created automatically, so a quote does not go quiet once the automated chasers stop. There is no direct Pipedrive integration, but a developer can connect the two through the Zigaflow REST API.
Where Pipedrive is genuinely better
The pipeline is the center of the product, it costs less per seat for a team that only sells, and it lists more than 500 integrations, email sequences and meeting notes from its Nova assistant. If your bottleneck is winning deals rather than delivering orders, Pipedrive is the better buy.
