Zigaflow vs PromoServe: margin on the quote, and a price on the page
PromoServe is a long-standing UK system for promotional product distributors, sold in Lite, Plus and Pro tiers by AIM Smarter. Zigaflow covers the same quote, order, purchase order and invoice flow, with a published price, a self-serve free trial, margin on every quote line and a branded customer store.
Where PromoServe asks more of you
PromoServe is a mature, promo-specific system with more depth than Zigaflow in some places, and the last card below says where. Every row was checked against promoserve.co.uk on 18 September 2026. A cross means the capability is not described on those pages, not that we tested the product and found it missing. PromoServe's own feature matrix and tier pages disagree in places; where they do, we took the tier page.
No price on the page
promoserve.co.uk describes three tiers, Lite, Plus and Pro, and publishes a price for none of them. A demo or a trial account is by request. Zigaflow's plans and add-ons are on the pricing page, from £79 a month, and the 14-day free trial starts when you sign up.
Margin arrives after the quote
PromoServe describes margin in its Power BI dashboards, where you can "review your average margin by supplier". It does not describe supplier cost and margin on each quote line. In Zigaflow the margin shows while the quote is still editable.
No customer store
A branded store for a client is not described as a PromoServe feature; its API can publish product data to a web store you run elsewhere. Zigaflow's Company Store is an add-on in the same system, so store orders arrive beside the rest of the work.

What a distributor gets from Zigaflow
Margin on the line while you quote
Every quote line holds the supplier cost beside the sell price, so the margin is visible while you can still change it. Accept the quote and the same lines become the job, the purchase order and the invoice.
A client store in the same system
The Company Store gives a client a branded store with their products at agreed prices, as a £199 a month add-on with 25 customer logins across as many stores as you need. Orders arrive in Zigaflow as jobs or quotations, depending on how your account is set up.
Where PromoServe is genuinely better
Plus and Pro carry a built-in ledger with Making Tax Digital, so there is no separate accounts package, and PromoServe links to Sage 50, which Zigaflow does not. Pro adds a production planner, bills of materials, overprint and embroidery management and multi-warehouse stock. If you decorate at volume and want accounts in the same system, it is worth a demo.
