Zigaflow vs Zoho: one quote, three applications

Zoho's own help documentation says the native Quotes, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Invoices in Zoho CRM do not have a direct sync with the matching modules in Zoho Books - so a single order crosses CRM, Books and Inventory, and nobody owns its margin.

Three subscriptions and a seam

This is not our characterisation of Zoho. It is what Zoho publishes: the CRM-native transaction modules and the Books transaction modules are separate, and the documented workaround is a custom function. Every row below was checked against the vendor's own product and pricing pages on 10 September 2026. A cross means the capability is not described anywhere on those pages, not that we tested the product and it was missing. Prices are the ones published that day and several are promotional, so check them before you decide.

The CRM quote and the Books quote are different objects

Zoho Books help states that the native modules in Zoho CRM - Invoices, Quotes, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders - do not have a direct sync with the corresponding transaction modules in Zoho Books, and points you at a custom function or the separate Zoho Finance module set.

Purchase orders are a third subscription

On 10 September 2026, Zoho Books UK put purchase orders, sales orders and inventory at the Professional plan, £24 an organisation a month monthly or £20 yearly with five users. Zoho Inventory UK started at £25 an organisation a month with two users and £6 for each extra.

No job that holds all of it

Zoho's own quote-management guide describes a quote created in CRM, synced to Books and Inventory, then converted to an invoice or sales order. There is no single record carrying the supplier cost, the works order and the margin for that piece of work.

The quote, the PO and the invoice are one thread

There is no CRM copy and finance copy of the same order to reconcile, and no custom function to maintain when Zoho changes something.

Margin owned by the job

Supplier cost from the purchase order sits on the line it belongs to, so the job knows its margin without a report that joins three applications.

Where Zoho is genuinely better

Zoho is cheaper, and the breadth of the suite - 50-plus apps under Zoho One, its own accounting, its own inventory, its own help desk - is far wider than ours. Zoho Books is a capable UK accounting package in its own right. If you want one vendor for everything and can live with the seams, Zoho is good value.
